I think it’s very hard to argue that Barbra Streisand is one of the most talented singers to ever grace the stage. So, with the long-awaited release of her Release Me 2 comes a compilation of previously unreleased tracks that carry with them the writing credits of the best in the business. Streisand’s warm velvety tones just carry you away.
With guest vocals from Willie Nelson, Barry Gibb and the one and only Kermit The Frog every song seems hand crafted for the collection. Release Me 2 really showcases the skill that Streisand brings to the business; that sweet sound that seems to come effortlessly from her.
Of course, Rainbow Connection has to be the standout track, but this album is just gorgeous from start to finish. Sit back and let Barbra warm the soul.
