British rock outfit Foals return with their seventh studio album ‘Life Is Yours’ and their first album as a trio. There is a definite change in sound direction from the guys with this being the first album on which they used multiple producers.
Now change isn’t always a bad thing, and this is the case on ‘Life Is Yours’, we haven’t strayed a million miles from that Foals sound we know and love, but some new directions are absolutely being explored. The guys are bringing a funkier flow to tracks and we are loving it.
We’ve loved every Foals album so far and we don’t think our opinion of them is going to change with ‘Life Is Yours’. Possibly a little more mainstream than previous records this album may appeal to a broader audience but shouldn’t everyone love Foals?
