Description
The Last Dinner Party's debut studio album, 'Prelude to Ecstasy', released in February 2024. It was produced by James Ford in London, and features the breakthrough singles, 'Nothing Matters', 'Sinner', and 'My Lady Of Mercy'. The Last Dinner Party are the Brits '2024 Rising Star' and winners of the BBC 'Sound of 2024'. They were told the news by former nominee Florence And The Machine, who praised their 'fierce and ferocious' sound and 'joyful' live shows. The Last Dinner Party are the first guitar band to win since Haim in 2013. Dressed like Victorian-era punk rockers, and armed with ragged, theatrical rock anthems, drawing on '70s art-rock albums by Sparks and Roxy Music, while channelling the fiery femininity of Siouxsie Sioux and Florence Welch.
