The debut album, Take This To your Grave, for Pop Punk superstars Fall Out Boy is everything we’ve come to expect from the band that helped reignite the scene. It’s nice to return to the beginning with the boys and see that not too much has changed from that starting point. They’ve always known the sound they wanted to produce and it’s in full force from the get-go.
I’ve seen the band live twice and what comes through on Take This To Your Grave is the intensity of those live shows. A real writing collaboration between Wentz and Stump, there are obviously some stand out tracks that have gone down as classics including ‘Dead On Arrival’ and ‘Grand Theft Autumn/ Where Is Your Boy’.
Grab a piece of pop punk history with this reissue from label Fueled by Ramen celebrating their 25th anniversary by giving us these little gems. F.O.B. at their youthful best.
